With the LS 80 from ALUKON, rooms shine in a pleasant light. It enables glare-free enjoyment of sunlight with maximum use of daylight. The light is directed to the ceiling and floods the room.

Summer heat rays are deflected by the slats and in winter it helps to use solar energy and the sunlight level. This is done automatically in the predefined light guiding position of 20°. Continous readjustment is not necessary.

The light guiding slats have good closing action and also allow adequate darkening during the day. At night, the closed slats protect against view from the outside, even if it is brightly lit inside.

WITH PERFECT FUNCTION

The ALUKON LS 80 light guiding slats are based on many years of experience in shadowing and are one of the most innovative sun protection products with a great technical know-how right down to the smallest detail. It is moved via filigree, space-saving loop cords and can be used in track and cable guides.

Vertical Tex tape punching

in a flanged design. This is covered in the best possible way by the Tex tape when closed and therefore few light passes through.

External venetian blind with special design

The partially concave slats, which are flanged on both sides, are additionally provided with a piping on the lower edge flanging. On the one hand, this absorbs the closing action and wind noises and, on the other hand, it optimally seals the slats so that they lie one above the other.

Guide nipple in the shape of a ship‘s propeller

Alternately attached to the slats, these ensure the best stacking action.

PERFECT DAYLIGHT INTAKE WITHOUT GLARE

With the LS 80 light guiding slats the sun rays can be „captured“ and deflected into the room in a subdued manner for a feel-good atmosphere.

MODE OF OPERATION OF THE LS 80

midday in summer

The steep and hot rays of sunlight are reflected back, so the heat stays outside, the room is not unnecessarily heated and the view to the outside is retained. Indirect light also brightens the room without disturbing, dazzling rays of sunlight.

midday in winter

The flat rays of sunlight are reflected completely inwards across the slat contour without glare and illuminate the room in an optimum manner while using the solar radiant heat.
